Can I grow these in a jar?
Not as shoots or microgreens. You can pre-sprout peas, sunflower and wheat in a jar for a day or two, then sow them in compost. Peas and wheat can also be eaten as short jar sprouts.
How long do pea shoots take?
About ten to fourteen days in compost, cut when they are five to ten centimetres tall.
Why is my coriander slow?
Coriander is naturally slow and uneven. Split coriander seed usually germinates faster and more evenly than whole seed.
What compost should I use?
A fine, peat-free seed compost or coir in a shallow tray with drainage holes works well.
