Natures Root Organic Rocket (Arugula) Microgreen Sprouting Seeds

Nature’s Root Organic Rocket Seeds were made for sprouting at home. Nutritious microgreens, packed with health-boosting benefits, they contain essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, and they taste pretty good too! Once sprouted, rocket can be added to any salad, smoothie, sauce, or dip to add flavour while packing a powerful punch of goodness.

Rocket also referred to Rugula, Rucola and Arugula, is a green-leafy vegetable belonging to the cruciferous family. With a higher ORAC score than many other cruciferous vegetables such as kale, spinach, and broccoli, it is one of the most antioxidant superfoods we can eat today, and as such, it belongs in every healthy diet.

The beauty of organic rocket seeds is that they are easy to grow at home, in fact, it is one of the easiest salad leaves to grow in the kitchen. Simply sow in a seed tray or planter, creating a thin row of seeds for easy harvesting, and water regularly. Your first crop will be ready in just a few weeks!

A natural source of vitamins A, C, and K, and packed with essential minerals such as iron, magnesium, manganese, and calcium, organic rocket is a microgreen that the whole family can enjoy. Add this low-calorie vegetable to sandwiches and snacks and indulge in its peppery flavour daily when detoxing.

Sprouting Instructions:

- Moisten soil, tamp, and spread the rocket seeds evenly over growth surface.

- Cover for 1-2 days.

- Uncover & place under direct light, or place in an area with sufficient indirect light.

- Rotate microgreens crop to prevent your greens from bending toward the light and becoming leggy.

- Harvest when the look & flavor is to your liking.

Why not start your day with a nutritious rocket smoothie. Blend a banana with a slice of fresh pineapple, a chunk of cucumber, a handful of organic rocket leaves, a teaspoon of organic turmeric, and a squeeze of lime.
