How to use
How to grow Dill Sprouting Seeds
- Prepare: there's no need to soak dill seed.
- Sow in a single, close layer over 2–3cm of moist seed compost in a shallow tray with drainage holes. Use about 10–15g for a standard 25 × 50cm tray, or 3–4g for a 15 × 20cm tray. Cover with a very thin layer of compost.
- Cover for 3–4 days to keep them dark and moist while the roots take hold.
- Grow on in bright light, watering from below so the compost stays damp but not soggy.
- Cut just above the compost when the shoots are 5–8cm tall, usually after 2–3 weeks.
