How to use
How to grow Mizuna Green Sprouting Seeds
- Prepare a shallow tray with a damp hemp or coir mat, a few layers of kitchen paper or 1–2cm of moist seed compost.
- Sow: There's no need to soak the seed first. Scatter the seed thinly and evenly, using about 10–15g for a standard 25 × 50cm tray or 3–4g for a 15 × 20cm tray.
- Cover for 2–3 days to keep the seeds dark and moist while they germinate. Mist them if the surface starts to dry.
- Grow on in bright light, watering from below so the base stays damp but not soggy.
- Cut just above the base once the first leaves have opened, usually after 10–14 days.
Quality & Sourcing: Nature's Root selects high-quality organic seed and packs it carefully to maintain freshness. Batches are checked for quality and handled in line with good manufacturing practices.
Allergens & Storage: Packed in a facility that handles nuts and sesame. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after opening.

You might also like
Can I grow mizuna in a sprouting jar?
It's best on a tray. Mizuna seeds tend to clump when wet, and the microgreens need light to develop their flavour.
How long do mizuna microgreens take?
About 10–14 days from sowing.
How much seed should I use?
About 10–15g for a standard 25 × 50cm tray, or 3–4g for a 15 × 20cm tray.
What does mizuna taste like?
Mild and gently peppery, softer than rocket or mustard. It suits salads, noodle bowls and sandwiches.
Is it suitable for vegans?
Yes.
How should I store the seeds?
Keep them sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and reseal the pouch after opening.
