Description
What are Italian Clover Sprouting Seeds?

- Certified organic Italian (crimson) clover seed
- Grows in a simple sprouting jar in 5–6 days
- Mild, slightly sweet flavour with larger sprouts than red clover
- Easy for beginners and grows all year on a worktop
How to use
How to grow Italian Clover Sprouting Seeds
- Soak 2 tablespoons of seed per 1-litre jar in plenty of cool water for 8–12 hours.
- Drain well and keep the jar at room temperature, out of direct sun, tilted so excess water runs out.
- Rinse and drain 2–3 times a day. Gently loosen the sprouts as they fill the jar so air can reach the middle.
- Green up: on the last day, move the jar into indirect light so the little leaves turn green.
- Harvest after 5–6 days, when the sprouts are 2.5–5cm long with small green leaves. Give them a final rinse, drain very well and keep them in the fridge, using within 2–3 days.
Quality & Sourcing: Nature's Root selects high-quality organic seed and packs it carefully to maintain freshness. Batches are checked for quality and handled in line with good manufacturing practices.
Allergens & Storage: Packed in a facility that handles nuts and sesame. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Reseal after opening.
Food safety: The Food Standards Agency advises cooking sprouted seeds until they're steaming hot all the way through before eating, unless they're sold as ready to eat. Home-grown sprouts aren't, so cook them first, and keep them in the fridge once harvested.
