Is flaxseed the same as linseed?
Yes. Flaxseed and linseed are two names for the same plant. Brown and golden are two varieties of the seed.
Should I grind flaxseed before eating it?
Many people do, because the seeds have a tough outer shell. Grind them just before use and keep any ground seed in the fridge.
How do I make chia pudding?
Stir chia seeds into milk or a plant-based alternative and leave them to soak in the fridge, ideally overnight, until they thicken into a pudding. Top with fruit to serve.
What do shelled hemp seeds taste like?
Soft, mild and nutty, a little like pine nuts. They need no cooking or soaking.
How should I store seeds?
Keep them sealed in a cool, dry place. Ground seeds are best kept in the fridge and used quickly.
