Organic Wheatgrass Seeds (Triticum aestivum) for growing fresh wheatgrass at home — perfect for juicing or pet grass. Fast, reliable germination on soil or mats; harvest in about 7–10 days.

Highlights

  • Certified organic, high-germination wheatgrass seed

  • Ideal for trays/mats; windowsill friendly

  • Sweet, grassy flavour — great for fresh wheatgrass shots

  • Clear step-by-step grow method for consistent results

How to Grow (Tray/Mat Method)

  1. Pre-soak: Rinse, then soak 8–12 hrs. Drain and rest 8–12 hrs until tiny sprout tails appear.

  2. Tray prep: Fill a shallow tray with 1–2 cm fine seed compost or use a hemp/coco/cellulose mat. Pre-moisten evenly (not soggy).

  3. Sow: Spread seeds edge-to-edge in a single dense layer.

    • 10×20″ tray: 200–250 g seed

    • Small ~15×20 cm tray: 25–40 g seed

  4. Cover (blackout): Lid or another tray on top for 2–3 days to encourage strong rooting. Keep evenly moist.

  5. Grow on: Uncover to bright, indirect light. Water from below or lightly from above to avoid soggy patches.

  6. Harvest: When 15–20 cm tall (usually day 7–10), cut just above the medium. Best at the “jointing” stage (before the second leaf fully develops).

Tip: Chill cut grass and juice immediately. Rinse and spin dry before storing.
