Overview
Bentonite Clay Powder is a soft, grey-green clay formed from weathered volcanic ash. Mixed with water it becomes a smooth, spreadable paste, which makes it a favourite for homemade face masks, hair masks and bath soaks.
It is traditionally mixed in a glass, ceramic or wooden bowl, and some people swap part of the water for apple cider vinegar.
For external, cosmetic use only. Do not eat or drink.

How to Use
- Patch test 48 hours before each use: apply a little to the inside of your elbow and don't use it if irritation appears
- Mix about 1 tablespoon with water to a smooth, creamy paste
- Apply a thin layer to clean skin, avoiding the eyes and lips
- Leave for 5 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water and moisturise

Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and out of reach of children and pets. Reseal after opening.

Can I eat or drink it? No. It is for external use on hair or skin only.
How often can I use it? Once or twice a week suits most people. Clay can feel drying, so follow with a moisturiser.
Can I use it on my hair? Yes. Mix to a looser paste, work through damp hair, leave for 10 to 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
